"I was being released from the hospital so my daughter called at 9:45 am to request a taxi to be there at 1:15 pm to take me home. Five minutes after 1 we called just to let them know we were ready and waiting. 1:40 called again, was told another 10 minutes. 10 minutes later still no taxi. Called City Cab and was on our way home 3 minutes later. Just 4 days earlier my daughter had called to go up to the hospital to see me and was told 30 to 45 minutes. An hour and a half later no cab. She took the bus. Don't call them, they are incredibly unreliable."
"Taxi had two front bald tires. Cracks all over windshield. Drove 53-55mph on I-15 in second-to-left lane, with cars flying past us on both sides (speed limit is 70mph) - I was terrified, and will never use yellow taxi again."
"Yesterday, 1/11/2024 I called for 2 reservations: 1 for the morning, the second 1 was to pick me up after work. In the morning the driver was 40 min or smth like this late. In the evening nobody even worried about calling to let me no that there would be no cab at 9:15 pm as I ordered it. When I called them the person on the phone sounded like he had never heard about this order. I had to wake up the friend of mine on the other side of the valley, have her come and pick me up. Called them back and, of course, no resolution."
"Yellow Cab is a lifesaver! My mother was traveling by herself. She lost her phone in one of their cabs but didn’t know where she had lost it. Nor did she have anyone’s number to call. My nephew and I called every hotel in SLC to make sure she had arrived. Yellow cab contacted me today from her phone and they are mailing it to her at no additional cost. To say I am grateful, is an understatement. THANK YOU yellow cab for easing my mind on behalf of my mother."
"WARNING *BE ADVISED: All I have to say is read the reviews... You cannot count on this company, not even with a reservation I made a reservation 48 hours in advance for a 4am pick up for an international flight. Called and confirmed at 3am that morning. Pick up was verbally confirmed... I received a phone call at 3:45 advising me that she did not have anybody to pick me up...wait.. WHAT!? What kind of taxi service is that!?"
