"After choosing Dr. Matthews based on positive reviews, my husband and I encountered a disappointing experience. While the front desk receptionist and the medical assistant were kind and supportive, our interaction with Dr. Matthews fell short. Despite his delay, which we understood, his lack of acknowledgment towards my husband and inappropriate remarks about my recent miscarriage left us disheartened. Our experience differed from the praised customer service mentioned in other reviews, and we are uncertain about the inconsistency."
"Dr Matthews is by far the best OB. If you're going back and forth on deciding what Dr to choose. Don't hesitate and go with Dr Matthews!! I had to switch Dr's at 34 weeks due to racial issues and so glad I did. Switching to Dr. Matthews gave me such a peace of mind considering what I was going through mentally with the previous Dr. He gave so much reassurance that I was in good hands and that my baby and i were more than safe during the delivery! I'm now going on 3 weeks post and I feel incredible and on top of that he's made sure to keep an eye on my high blood pressure that the previous Dr didn't seem to care or be concerned about through out the 7 months of seeing her despite the verbal comments of concern by the nurse techs. I am so grateful and blessed that I switched Dr's when I did!"
"Dr. Matthews is excellent. He gives listens to what you have to say and is very respectful. He is also easy to talk to. The only area they could improve is in the booking of appointments. The times I have gone they always make me wait at least 1/2 hour. One time I waited 1 hour. If you are late they charge you a no show and you have to reschedule, so I think it is fair that they are respectful of your time too. And this is why I gave them 4 stars."
