"I can’t even express how much I love Beehive Comprehensive Clinic. We found Heidi when my son was having health issues that no one would really take the time to figure out. Heidi is one of the smartest humans I know, she is always learning and staying up to date with things and she’s so collaborative and open to ideas. So many times the ego of the provider gets in the way of good healthcare. I’ve never felt this way with Heidi. She’s just fabulous. She believes you when you’re sharing your experience and always is ready with ideas. She also listens to the research you’ve done and the issues you’re having and is so open to any ideas that help you further your health goals. I appreciate so much that she puts such an emphasis on mental healthcare as well. I don’t think I could trust a doctor that didn’t see that as a huge piece of the healthcare puzzle. Rachel and Rob are great, too! I’m confident Christina is wonderful, as well. I met her, but haven’t seen her yet as a provider. Together with the MAs and the office staff, they all make an amazing team of kind, compassionate, intelligent and capable providers. The clinic does run a tight ship as far as late fees and cancellations go. Because of this, they are better at running on schedule than any other place I’ve been. The providers deserve to have their time respected, as well as the time of subsequent patients that would also be pushed back that day. They take so much time with you, which is essential when you’re looking for root causes. They’re LGBTQ affirming which is so important to me. It’s such a safe and supportive place to help you figure yourself out and heal and thrive. I adore Cora in the office, and all of the staff is great! I LOVE that they will communicate via text to set up appointments. It’s a lifesaver for the typical millennial phone anxiety. ;) This clinic seriously feels like a dream to me. I consider myself so lucky to have found them for me and my kids."
"Ive had to try a few places with new providers over the last few years with insurance changes. I very much appreciated the time and care spent with Christina here this week. Very detailed and thoughtful inpatient meeting. I like feeling like I have time and interest taken in me as a patient and a wholistic approach to care. "Loved coming to this office but when I had to cancel my appointment at the last minute because my employee got severely ill they charged me $100 cancelation fee. I get charging a fee, but this seems ridiculously high when I have never done anything like this before. It was a last minute emergency. I thought Rob was a really great PA but now I will not return."
"Several years ago I really had good experiences with this clinic. Heidi was able to get to the bottom of some health issues that other doctors hadn't been able to figure out, and I was thankful to get some treatment that worked. Heidi was very kind and helped me with a few different things that were troubling me and I was so grateful. However as i continued to go here, more issues came up. I spent more and more of my appointments that were supposed to be with Heidi talking to students instead, when Heidi was not even in the room, and the students would then relay what I said (like the game of telephone- something gets lost- I'd always rather talk to my provider directly). Then they refused to give me a refill of a basic ongoing prescription I was taking, where I wanted the exact same dose for the same condition that had not changed at all, unless I came to a follow up appointment. They urged me to get in and be seen soon so as not to interrupt my treatment. I had been seen a few months previously so it seemed a refill of exactly the same thing in the same dose for the same condition would have been reasonable. For all that they are so busy you would think they would not make people come in unnecessarily. I decided to get my prescription elsewhere. When I was at a borderline age for a mammogram, Heidi used scare tactics and anecdotal evidence to try to get me to agree to one instead of scientific evidence about their effectiveness. Whatever she remembers saying is always right- she is very insistent on this and what the patient remembers saying or remembers her saying is disregarded and must be wrong if it isn't the same thing she remembers. I don't feel like she used to be like this, but have now experienced these kinds of difficulties too many times to want to go back. Then I had to drop off a functional ability evaluation form for my missionary daughter's drivers license, which my daughter's provider, Rachel, said she would fill out and send to the drivers license division. She did fill it out and someone stuck it in a drawer somewhere instead of sending it to the DLD like they said they would (I didn't realize it needed my daughter's signature, so they couldn't send it to the DLD, but they should have called and told me that). Someone then found it three months later and called me (with no apology or admission of neglect on any of their parts) to come get it. This resulted in my daughter driving on revoked driving privileges (revoked for not sending in the form that this clinic had stuck in a drawer somewhere after saying they would send it) that she didn't realize had been revoked. When I tried to tell them I was frustrated this had happened, Cora interrupted me mid-sentence and very very rudely told me it was my responsibility to follow up on anything I drop off, so apparently they have no obligation to do what they say they will do and do not accept any responsibility for doing what they say they will do. Cora is generally rude and uncaring towards patients and I have experienced this on a few occasions. So I would say if there is something you have really been trying to get a diagnosis for and can't figure out, it might be worth trying this clinic if you don't mind putting up with rude staff and being treated poorly and other difficulties to get it. Personally I will no longer be going somewhere that treats me like this."
"Save yourself the time, trouble and emotional roller coaster, and find a different provider. Or wait until they change office staff. Absolutely horrendous experience, especially with the office manager Cora. I have been trying to get an appointment since June. I had to cancel our appointment in August because I ended up changing my work schedule and couldn’t get off work in time for my son to be seen. They have texted repeatedly trying to reschedule us which I couldn’t do until I had the time from work which was not until November or December. I finally responded and then they said they had to see with her provider if they could provide care for my son since he has already started seeing his primary care doctor. It’s been four or five months, how am I supposed to wait for my son to receive care for them to have an opening? They said they’ve bent over backwards. I haven’t seen it at all and I also have the text to prove it. Cora was so busy arguing with me and not listening not providing actual care or compassionate care or kindness! Just absolutely horrendous experience. Save yourself the trouble. Save yourself the time. Find a different provider! Deleted and re posted because their reply violated HIPPA laws by stating private matters about my son and the treatment he is seeking. Even more of reason to stay away."
