"My friend and I were looking for a local place in provo to eat for lunch and we chose here! The tamales were so good! It was a nice clean place, with kind staff, and was very welcoming. I plan on going back!"

"I hate to give any place that’s trying, a one star review, but I just wouldn’t eat here again, and honestly wish I hadn’t eaten there tonight. The chips and salsa was small for two people to share, plus the chips were tough! And, although they gave us more of the delicious salsa, they didn’t give us more chips. More then this, we didn’t enjoy either entree we ordered. The chicken enchiladas were drowned in a strong, bitter sauce, and their was no cheese or anything with the chicken filling to make it not dry/ plain inside. And my chile relleno was so unpleasant I had to stop trying to eat it because it was ruining my association with my favorite Mexican dish! The cheese inside, though a classic Mexican cheese, was not the melty cheese I expected like at other places (instead it stayed in one large lump). The roasted pepper and breading grossed me out flavor wise and the tomato sauce on top was not good on the chile relleno. The queso tamale was good, we enjoyed the beans and rice overall, and the corn tortillas tasted fresh and were heated nicely. Also, the customer service was pretty good. If you found this review helpful, please like it so Google and I know. Thanks!"

"It was fine, nothing extraordinary. Their food wasn’t extremely authentic nor was it enough to be upscale Mexican food. This food is somewhere in between. We shared the 3 course meal and chose the tomato soup, chicken mole poblano entree with a pork tamale, and the pineapple tamale for dessert. The mole sauce was good, but the soup could have been more flavorful. Overall the best thing was the pineapple tamale as it wasn’t too sweet and all the flavors worked well together. Everything felt like it needed a bit more flavor, and I would have appreciated it more if the tortilla chips were homemade as well as the tortillas, or if there was a little more flavor and power in the pork tamale soup, and mole sauce."

"This place was great. The Tamale was cooked perfectly. I got the Red Chile and should have ordered ten. The tacos were authentic. The staff was super nice and fast. The chicken taco was my favorite. Will definitely come back for more."
