"Beautiful campground! It was not terribly crowded when we were there (mid-week). I wish they had sites with water and power hookups, but no such luck. The only negatives were cows moooving right through our site (so lots of cowpies and flies), and the picnic tables hadn't been painted in a LONG time (don't slide sideways on the benches). It was quiet at night. Overall a good stay. We'll be back, but may take a chance on finding a good disbursed camping spot."

"This place was AWESOME! We went to a walk-up campsite and the campsite manager immediately came to check on us and make sure we knew the rules, where the bathrooms were, where help could be found, etc. She was so friendly! The bathrooms were the nicest, cleanest, besr smelling non-flushing permanent porta-potty style bathrooms I have ever been in. The campsites themselves are a little close together, but they're close to the lake and the lake is AWESOME! plenty of alcoves for fishing privately, a beautiful shady paved walking path around the entire lake, and a large beachy shallow area. We are already planning another camping trip here because we loved it so much."

"Great location for a weekend getaway with the family. Campground was nice, vault toilets were kept clean. Sites on the north side of C loop feel separated/secluded with the quaking aspen growth."

"Reserved group site B for a family reunion. I went up a month before the camping trip to check out the campground. The site is so neglected, the "tent sites" (8 foot square sloped clearings in the brush with narrow deer trails between)and the picnic tables are nearly unusable. Lucky I was able to cancel my reservation and find another place. If you have self-contained trailers, it might be okay. But if you have more than two tents, or large tents, forget it."
