Four Points by Sheraton Salt Lake City Airport

"The hotel is updated nicely and feels clean and fresh. The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient. I would stay there again with zero concerns. Where it falls flat is the restaurant and bar. We’re driving across the country and just in Salt Lake for one night, we decided to hit the easy button and just have dinner at the hotel. We may have been the only people in the place. The server was also the bar tender. If you have read other reviews by me, you know I always comment on the drink service. I’m a Wisconsin girl and have pretty high standards when it comes to cocktails. My advice for this particular bar is don’t bother. I asked for a lemon drop martini, she said she could make one and what she brought me was unsweetened lemon juice, with a little vodka on the rocks with a lime. My husband ordered a gin and tonic and he got a glass of tonic with a lime. Our food order was equally impressive. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and no croutons. I got a plate of Romain lettuce and crated Parmesan cheese with dressing on the side. No chicken, no red onion. Just the lettuce. I had ordered some fries from the appetizer menu. She brought out my fries at the same time as my husband’s entree. My salad came about 15 minutes later as if the fries were my appetizer, but even then you would still bring the entrees out together. They did eventually get me some chicken for the salad, but it was clear that no one ne had been trained in food service or mixology. The Sheridan Four Points we’ve stayed at from Madison WI to Auckland , NZ have been outstanding when it came to service and knowledgeable staff. I would stay there again, but I don’t think we’ll be back in the restaurant."

"Room and property are a little worn-out. The bathroom fan sounded like a leaf blower. There was a lot of freeway and airport noise. The staff is top-notch. They explained the property, amenities, and other options well. Dean, the shuttle driver, gave was full of information and very efficient getting us to and from the airport."

"This is easily one of the nicest hotels in the area. Full service gym amazing Courtyard beautifully well taken care of rooms. This place has a full service kitchen and bar directly inside the front entrance. Shuttle service to and from the airport. This is a great place to stay for both business and pleasure. Very clean and well maintained hotel And they have the one thing that I absolutely require when I stay at a hotel clean betting that actually feels good."

"Little soundproofing happening in these rooms. In the hallway I could hear conversations clearly and jet/highway noise all through the night. The room was ice cold when we arrived and despite turning on the heat it never warmed up. I suspect this was because the balcony door would not shut correctly-cold air was clearly felt when standing next to it. I would think the balcony door would have a proper way of shutting securely, seems like a huge safety hazard especially because we were traveling with a toddler. The elevator didn’t work during our stay, so we were forced to use the stairs whenever we needed to leave the hotel. I understand this is not completely within control of the hotel, but a speedy repair would have been appreciated. More than a day without repair was inconvenient. The bedding was uncommonly scratchy, thin, and uncomfortable, but the pillows were nice. The “pantry” was one of the less impressively stocked ones I’ve seen- mostly just snacks and slim to none of the things travelers tend to forget. I would also warn you against traveling with kids at this hotel. My toddler walking in the hotel room was cause for a call from the front desk telling us to be quiet. I would understand if he was stomping or jumping, but how a 20 pound toddler walking is cause for a complaint when you can hear highway/jet noise so clearly…. After that every noise from our toddler had us worried we were going to get another call. Kind of ridiculous. Overall this hotel was just good enough to be an okay stay. Points were mainly taken away for the balcony doors which would not shut all the way making for a freezing night and safety concerns."

"The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is perfect for a tall person like myself.This hotel is very secure. It's a great location because it's located close to the airport, a quick 10-minute drive. The staff was awesome. Adam, the person checking in people helped big time and went above and beyond for us. During all the times of day, you need your room card to get in the outside doors. I LOVED that there were ear plugs to help you sleep. That was a first for me in a hotel. The cleaning people were the friendliest workers I've met in a hotel before. This is the hotel where I started my 9 day vacation, and I made sure to end at this hotel. They tell you where to park, so its a quick walk to your room. This is the place you want to stay when visiting Salt Lake City. It's located in one of the best spots to get everywhere you want and need fast. I have a service animal and was great the doors closing in the hallway never scared or bothered her. They have an amazing workout area that anyone can get a full workout and burn some calories. You can even have a nice walk after your workout in this area. The drinks are good and the food was absolutely amazing, especially the breakfast(was worth the money for sure)."
