"Medical cataract surgery is done in Anna TX from RGB cataract and LASIK surgery in Sherman TX.Needed a ride the day of surgery. Was told they don't service out to Anna TX I have no one to drive me even called TCOG with no results for a ride. Guess I'll have to drive with one eye after surgery!"

"TAPS is an outstanding organization that fills a tremendous need to the community. They have an amazing staff who sincerely loves and cares about their passengers - especially those going to dialysis three times a week. The buses are clean and (for the most part) quiet. But they are so limited that many seniors are having to do without transportation. And when these seniors DO get rides, sometimes they have to wait a long time for the bus to pick them up, then ride for sometimes hours before arriving at their destination. TAPS would do well to offer more substantial pay to their drivers. Offering competitive salaries would increase retention and likely save the company money, because they wouldn't have to train new people nearly as often. Again, TAPS is fantastic. It's an awesome resource. As a community, we're fortunate to have them. Just a little fine tuning and it would be even better for both drivers and passengers."

"I can't say enough about my ride on TAPS. The drivers were courteous and friendly. They drove safely, and we got there. The same with the drive back home was a different driver, but we received the same experience. I'll gladly use it again when I go out. Thank you, TAPS"

"After a bit of being a good service, they started making us drive 1/2 a mile to the mailboxes, after we informed them that the person using their services couldn’t walk that, and the bus wasn’t normally on time. After we were late a second time meeting the bus at the mailboxes,- We weren’t at the house, and they called the house phone three times before they called the cell phone. The driver didn’t let the callers know where he was till he was 5 minutes from mailboxes. -Taps informed us that they were stopping their services for my aunt. I wouldn’t recommend their services, if you live out in the country or on a dirt road or surrounded by a lot of trees."
