"Called for an estimate on my fridge not cooling. They quoted $300 to repair it. I declined because replacing it would be more economical. A few weeks later, they send me a bill for a service charge of $85. Nothing was mentioned prior to appointment. The manager indicated on the phone it was understood that a service would be applied if I declined repair. I am suppose to know their rates and policies. What a joke of a company and will make sure everyone I know to tread lightly when dealing with these crooks. I have worked in customer service for 10+ yrs and was always up front about costs. They simply did not communicate and that’s the most upsetting part of this situation."

"The Cook's repair people were so nice. They listened carefully to what the problem was. Thoroughly investigated the dishwasher and corrected the issue promptly. "Put a new thermostat in my GE dryer. Was never given an estimate. Very little communication. Received a 600 dollar invoice at 140 dollars an hour rate. Then wanted 3 percent for paying with CC."
"We were very pleased with Cook's service. They are knowledgeable, professional and responsive. Our dryer stopped heating, and after checking online, I removed a fuse that I thought was the problem. We went to Cook's, and their owner, Dana, checked it and found it was good. We arranged for them to service it, and their technician, Jerry, came the next morning. He found that the problem was the circuit breaker, not the dryer, and recommended an electrician. By the end of the next day, our dryer was working again."
