"UPDATE: the store did reach out to me and they were super accommodating. they were actually able to exchange the shorts for a smaller size! we even exchanged the socks (though they are still too big because the smallest size they get is still too big). I will definitely be paying close attention to sizing recommendations in the future, but if you order the wrong size make sure you don't wear the uniform and reach out to see if they can help you! their customer service was great! i still don't love the style but i realize they also don't have much choice in that. We did get uniforms in time for our first competition. Super disappointed with the sizing. For socks I followed their recommendation for the age of my child and they are HUGE! When ordering the shorts and shirts I went with my child’s normal size, M (which fits an 8-10 anywhere else) they did not have any numbers connected to what their M would fit but when I got the jersey it says 11-12Y M. They are too big. I’ll take the blame for assuming the M would fit like most places, but for the socks I looked at their sizing guide and ordered by their standard and the socks are big on the feet which means they’ll bunch up in the cleats. They also have designed them so you can’t just fold the socks over and they’d look fine because of the visual design of the sock. So frustrating and annoying."
