"2 years ago, a friend recommended I make an appointment with Dr. Chou after she started her hormone pellet treatment. Why did I wait so long? In August I had my first conversation with Dr. Chou by phone, had my lab work a few days later and my appointment the next week for the insertion of pellets. Her office staff as well as Dr. Chou are professional and very friendly. Dr. Chou spent a lot of time before the procedure explaining why the pellet therapy works better than oral, topical or shot therapy. She also explained everything while she was inserting the pellets. I’m a nurse and really appreciated the education. I had a hysterectomy in 2004, tried prescription topical cream hormones with little change and wasn’t sure with that being so long ago if the pellets would work. Dr Chou assured me they would. Within 2 days I felt significant changes. My brain feels less foggy, my sleep quality is better, my skin is more supple, vaginal dryness which caused painful sex is gone and I actually have my sex drive back. Unfortunately insurance companies will not pay for hormone pellet treatment, but with the results I’m experiencing I would happily pay double. Please don’t raise your price Dr. Chou.
