"Dr. Liu is really great. He addresses everything and really listens and repeats back a summary of your discussion and makes me feel like he really listens. He gives options and works on a treatment plan that is specific for you and is very thorough. Sad he is moving!"

"The approval process to get in was lengthy and hard. After getting denied once, 2 of my doctors ended up sending in the last 5 years of records to show why I was being referred. Then I had a long wait to make an appointment. It took 8 months from the time I was referred originally until I actually got in for an appointment. Since meeting with Dr Liu, I experienced a doctor who listened to concerns, asks lots of questions and was more than willing to look at less common issues. Even listened and helped with something unrelated to arthritis, but was affecting it, that I have struggled with for 3 years and regular doctors ignored. It was a blessing in my life! Every result of a test or scan was sent to me in the mail, and I always got a phone call ahead of that arrival. Even on the phone calls Dr Liu listened to questions I had, was open to doing more scans to make absolutely sure on an issue and was very kind in helping me to understand next steps. Dr Liu even apologized that things had taken so long with me. But I knew my case is definitely not cut and dry. It’s not like I haven’t been dealing with the pain for years, so to have someone finally figure it out and give me hope is a BIG deal. Especially when the doctor truly cares about you."

"After a long approval process and wait, I finally met with Dr. Liu. He basically just read my file to me (hadn't looked it beforehand, though supposedly that's part of the referral/approval process) and verified it was complete, then quickly examined me, asking the same questions over and over (Have you ever had a rash? No. What about a rash like this? Or like this? Still no... Etc.). Then he told me my PCP had covered all the bases and he had no other ideas of what to test, and didn't know what was wrong with me (symptoms of chronic fatigue and joint pain for 3 years), so it's just chronic fatigue syndrome by default, and I didn't need to come back for a follow up... I guess he didn't want to bother researching rare conditions or anything outside his normal diagnoses/treatments. He could have read my chart beforehand and saved me the trip, and the frustration. Also, their office is seriously outdated, still using (redundant paperwork) instead of an efficient online system."

"This was my first visit to Dr Liu and I was very impressed by his demeanor and knowledge. He gave me a very thorough exam and had several options for my AS. He also checked several of my previous scans and tests from two different clinics to help make a game plan for my condition. I’m very confident with him taking my case and health. The staff was prompt, friendly and seemed to be happy working with Dr Liu."

"Dr Liu was amazing. Really amazing. He didn't make me wait long, prepped for my case prior to me coming, and was exceptional in his knowledge of my history from what my primary physician sent over. He asked questions on what he didn't know and was very thorough. I have really bad memory issues and he wrote a full page letter describing why I was there, what we had done and what the plan was going forward including the "why" behind all of it. Great doctor!! I wish all doctors would have taken this much time to prepare and with patient care. The receptionist staff was not as helpful, service oriented, and left much to be desired. They were rude on the phone initially, then at the office they asked questions that were in the packet that was right in their hands which they asked me to fill out. That was frustrating. They clearly didn't check my insurance prior to my visit even though I was required to provide it to them. Bottom line, Dr Liu was fantastic and totally worth the drama of the dealing with the receptionist team. If they would put in as much prep work as Dr Liu did regarding their job, this clinic would be remarkable!!!"
