Costco Pharmacy

"Just want to show some extra gratitude to all the pharmacists, nurses, and technicians here. They're a busy group, but they've provided great customer service to my husband and me through the years. I wish I could name this one woman (tall with short hair) who is a total rockstar here! She's always SO SWEET to my little boy when he's with me. I'll never forget one morning they were short on staff, and she was JUGGLING SO MUCH that morning. She was still so pleasant despite the stress she was experiencing and still managed to serve my order promptly. Despite pharmacies being busy places, I'm grateful for the effort from those who serve there and will be better at showing my gratitude for them."

"Not very impressed with Lehi Costco Pharmacy. Every time I go to pick up a prescription I'm met with a lot of questions from the pharmacist and staff. Let me get this straight, the doctors write the order, the pharmacist fills the order. Am I wrong?"

"Costco is a great store, I make it a point to hit every costco I can when I vacation but the pharmacy in Lehi Utah has gotten just a bit too comfortable with their position in the community. They have lost focus on the customer. I will give you a few examples. 1. They send a text when your medication is refilled....sometimes. 2. They actually have your medication ready when they send you a text....sometimes. 3. They realize on their own that if a customer has an injectable medication you may actually need the needles too. Well, they used to be able to think things through but now they just argue with you. I don't know if its a covid thing or just a laziness thing but is it too much to ask someone to actually THINK about what they are doing while they are at work?"

"The pharmacist was very helpful with my dog's Rx. I love the refill system Costco has. One less thing I have to remember. The techs always ask how my dog is doing too. They genuinely care about their customers."

"Best pharmacy around. Knowledge is power. Are they busy? Yes. After talking to some employees I found out that this specific Costco Pharmacy is the busiest Costco not only in Utah but also in the district they are in. So I would expect a little bit of a wait. Something I am ok with as they are preparing my medications that I take on the daily. Don't want to rush someone doing that!! Have I gone in there after visiting my Dr and find out my prescription wasn't ready yet? Yes. But I also found out that the reason they 'schedule' my prescription the next day is because it keeps costs down and it in turn keeps my costs down. How you ask, like I did? They don't have to keep hundreds of thousands of dollars of medication sitting in bottles on their shelves hoping for someone to come buy them. They have a Costco robot that fills the medicine for the exact amount and only has to pay for them when they fill it. Viola less costs which get passed on to me with a lower cash price than those useless GoodRx commercials quote. Is it inconvenient Heck no! I usually don't need my medicine that same day and thank the heavens and the stars they have this newfangled technology that sends me a text when it's ready, imagine that. Now I can toss my pager!! Do I go down to pick up my drugs before I get a text? No. Why would I, it obviously isn't ready if I didn't get a text. But wait Mr or Miss faceless internet person, what if my Dr called in an antibiotic or a pain pill. I NEED that today! Easy peasy, I just call the pharmacy before I come in and say, I know you dudes and dudettes do a great job but do you think I can get my antibiotic today?!? Yes? That was easy. Then my longest wait turns out to be paying for my prescription. I also love how they call me to let me know that something isn't in or they don't have enough of something so it saves me a trip (twice) and a walk on that big cement floor. Not to mention I would probably get suspicious if I didn't get a page or I mean text saying my expected item was ready, that is what I call a clue. In fact, if I could marry Costco Pharmacy this is the one I would commit to for the rest of my life! Please send cash in lieu of flowers and gifts to ...."
