"Having toured this facility for possible childcare for our son my wife and I decided we were not comfortable with leaving our child there. The biggest red flag for us was the interaction we observed between the owner of the facility (Jan) and the children that were there the day we visited. The children were excited to have us walking around as children typically get when some new is around, and Jan's reaction to the kids was very controlling, abrupt, and rude to the kids. We thought that if that is how she is when we are there, it can't be good when parents aren't around. The cleanliness was not great. The play area out back was pretty beat up and didn't feel that safe. Lastly, the staff didn't feel very qualified to be watching multiple kids at a time. So we looked at several other options and found way better places to take our son than this place. My recommendation is look else where in Ogden, you will find a lot better for your children."

"Jan is the owner of East bench little learners. My child reported to me that she was hit by Jan and other abuse was also reported. My child had multiple sunburns because they wouldn’t reapply sunblock that I had there for my child. My child told us that they wouldn’t take them to the bathroom, so had accidents almost daily. They mixed all the age groups together while my child attended, 3 years olds with 6th graders. They didn’t have a lock until my husband paid and installed the keypad that they never used after. I could go on and on. Please keep your children safe and don’t take them here. You can also see all their citations they were given, they are public record online. The owner had harassed me to have my reviews removed. It’s also pretty interesting that they deleted their original google account that had multiple bad reviews from other parents that removed their children from East Bench Little Learners."

"I have worked here for three years on and off. I have always loved this daycare. There are reviews on here that are untrue and we have proof of them being untrue. We have no way of removing them. There is no other daycare where your kid will actually get to be a kid and play without being sat down in a desk all day. All the employees here love the children like their own. If I have children I would 100% trust this daycare."

"Heard nothing but TERRIBLE things about this "daycare"! Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy!! Keep your kids safe and stay away from this awful place!"

"I have worked here for a few months now and it’s the best!! The staff is amazing and so are the kids! They always include fun art projects for the kids and spend lots of time outside which is so good for the kids! It’s a really great place!!"
