"I got an IUD inserted about a month ago, and Dr. Diouf mentioned to me in my first annual appointment that it wouldn’t be too much pain except maybe cramping for a bit after the procedure. This was completely false and one of the worst pains i’ve ever been through. Then I just got the bill from my insurance and the IUD is over $1000 more than what it should be billed at. I am very hurt and feel like i’ve trusted a doctor to help me and I don’t feel like I was told the truth 100%. I’ve been dealing with side effects from this IUD (was on my period when i went in, been about a month now and im still bleeding and still have pain). Be cautious who you pick to be your provider."

"New patient trying to set an appointment up, no one has answered in two days. Already off to a bad start, would love someone to pick up so I can get my appointments going for my unborn child."

"At my first appt I brought a list of questions. I had called the front desk two times prior to see if I would be getting a pelvic exam that day and they said no both times. I go into the patient room and the nurse hands me a gown for a pelvic exam. I was surprised as I had called twice before the appt. I expressed that I would like to meet my DR first and discuss my questions with her before the exam. They said I could do that afterwards. A few minutes later Dr diouf walks in and I am in my gown. She said she was told I had some questions and that we could discuss them now. I felt vulnerable being that I wanted to have an actual conversation with her before I was half naked on an exam table. But, I got my questions out and we began to discuss. After the third question she stated, “what do you want just spit it out?”, I told her I wanted my delivery to be as holistic as possible. One of my questions was: what is your C-section rate and do you force your patients to lay on their back for delivery? She would not answer me about the C-section and told me of course she makes her patients lay on their back it is the safest thing possible. I expressed anxiousness and worry about my delivery and she said, it’s just a baby. Babies are delivered all the time. You’ll only worry if you make yourself worry.”. I had complained of extreme acid reflux to the point where I was throwing up and could not sleep the entire pregnancy and they told me the only thing I could take was tums. When I switched providers they said I could take Pepcid and omeprazole and it has completely eliminated my symptoms. Find an OB who advocates for you, works with you, and does not behave like this. It is possible to have a birth experience without trauma you just have to find the right team. It was very clear to me that she wants the patients to do everything her way and is not willing to cater to what they need."
