"Edited: there was a system issue where we got charged twice for a tip, they reached out to fix it. There were 2 of us, we were the only diners there in both restaurants the entire time, I didn't even see anyone come for takeout. There are signs everywhere saying they give a discount if you leave a 5 star review before you pay. The restaurant interior has some interesting decorations and probably looked neat when it opened, but it's seen a lot of wear and tear and hasn't been touched up. The food was decent, we would have come back for the pork buns. The udon Japanese curry had a nice comforting flavor and noodle texture but the chicken was tough and overall was a little one note. The katsu was bland and didn't have much going on."

"What a great find! Started with pork gyoza, served with a perfect citrus soy sauce. Neither was dominant, each highlighting the other. Very, very nice. But don't let the crispy gyoza sit too long and lose their delightful crunchiness. For those fans of thick noodles, don't be put off by the thin noodles I've highlighted here. Although thin, they're not overdone and mushy, but perfectly al dente. They must drop them into the flavorful broth at the last possible instant. And also, don't be put off by the large slab of chashu that appears dry sitting atop the bowl. Although not melt in your mouth perfection, it was among the best I've had, flavorwise. (I had the namesake Tonkotsu ramen). Their only flaw that I could see was they have no sake to accompany your meal. A small price to pay for such a nice bowl of noodles. PS: surprise guest of a whole boiled egg in your soup. Enjoy!"

"ORDER: I ordered (3) curry chicken ramen and (1) pork and I received (4) curry ramen. Pretty disappointing but I love ramen. I would’ve given a 5 star if my order was correct and if the following didn’t happen… The noodles weren’t al dente and weren’t stirred because they’re glued together. ENVIRONMENT: relaxing and chill and very warm. STAFF: very friendly"

"Everything but the Tonkatsu Ramen was great. The waitress was friendly and quick to check on our table. We ordered Chicken Gyoza for our appetizer and it was good and the exterior was crunchy and crisp. However, the ramen was underwhelming at most and the broth tasted burnt. Unfortunately, I will not be returning for that reason."
