"Pleasantly surprised. This location is very good for a buffet. Best buffet steak around, as long as you ask for a medium or medium rare piece; not good enough cuts to survive medium well, (and well done is just ridiculous for any steak, anywhere, at any time). Like any buffet, many of the dishes depend on how long they've been sitting, if you wait for fresh to come out almost all their dishes are solid. One small complaint: the rolls are too good for the low quality "buttery spread and honey buttery spread". Owners: please use 50/50 butter at least."
"This is our favorite Golden Corral, the food and service is usually great. We typically go after church, tonight we went in for family dinner, about 7ish. I took a star off...for 3 reasons. 1. bc the feature right now seems to me chicken strips. I got just a plain one...it looked like it was going to be delicious...instead it was DRY. Like I couldn't even eat it with gravy or any sauce to make it better. 2. Same thing with the steak...I was offered one but another on the grill was calling to me. It was tasty...but so HARD/Tough...like I couldn't even cut through it. They even left the silverskin on it...do y'all just thaw it and throw it in the marinade? Thankfully my husband got 2 steaks when he went to get steak and gave me a chunk of his...THAT was what I expected. 3. The Okra...I know I'm not in Texas and not everyone here likes Okra. But man...again dry....even Ranch couldn't revive it. One plus...my toddler loves Chinese buffets and in the past leaves Golden Corral practically hungry...This time...I found something he LOVED...the mashed potatoes with the chicken gravy. Maybe we will stick to Sundays. Maybe we will go this Sunday even?"
"This place was so good! Service was so friendly, and the food was the best we've had at any GC! The steak was so tender and cooked perfectly. The salad bar was well stocked and fresh. They were constantly bringing out fresh food. They were very busy at 3 in the afternoon. Really popular place!"
"Clean. Clean. Clean. I was seriously impressed by the qualityandcleanliness. Big salad bar. Countless entres. Cotton candy on the desert bar. Everything fresh. Especially the salad bar. The trick is to pace yourself. So much flavor under 1 roof. Great value. Enjoy the journey."
