"I think this is the lowest rating I've ever given. Sadly there is just no reason to eat here. It is more expensive than Golden Corral or ChuckORama and both of those places are better! I had the all you can eat FishnChips:low quality, overcooked fish.Wife had Salad bar which is nothing special for $16, and was not included in mine! Its $8.99 add on!!! Or you can do the $20.99 steak and salad bar, which is more $ than Golden Corral which has all you can eat steak PLUS chicken, pork, fish, shrimp,etc PLUS a bigger salad bar PLUS a bigger hot bar PLUS a bigger dessert bar....more food, tastier food and more choices for less money. This is two stars for the right reasons: mediocre food, few choices, not low prices. Sorry but go somewhere else."
"My experience was good here at this Sizzlers in Layton. The food was really good minus the mash potatoes. They were really drenched with gravy. But the steak and chicken was very delicious. Our server was great and on top of refills, etc. Overall a great experience. Would for sure recommend."
"I went today with a group from work and we ordered a variety of items. Everyone seemed to enjoy their orders. I went with only the Salad Bar and LOVED it! What a variety of food they offered for me on a low carb diet. Our waitress was really great, kind, patient, attentive and I regret not getting her name. Good job, Sizzler!"
"Steak and all you can eat shrimp is my favorite. I usually love the Steak and shrimp, but my last visit the shrimp was darker than usual and really greasy. Any restaurant's success or failure depends completely on the cook. If I were at home, I would have thrown it in the trash and started over. The Steak and baked potato were fine, but almost $20.00 for steak and all you can eat shrimp was disappointing to me. When we walked in at a non busy time of 4pm, I overheard a server saying to the cooks that she had asked for something 15 minutes ago and not received it. Usually that may have made me leave, but this dinner was with a granddaughter as her treat to us and I didn't want to cause a scene"
"A genuinely meh experience. The line was long and the ordering process was slow. The servers were meh, not super attentive or fast. The floors were disgusting. The salad/soup/dessert bars were dried out and unappetizing. The food was edible.. and the server brought us what we needed… but I won’t be back."
