"If I could this place negative stars I would. On my initial visit I thought the place was very unique and cute. The food was good and the service was friendly. One of the owners was always present and very nice. However, their famous "steamed" buns have been missing for over a month now due to their machine not working so they decided microwaving them and making them tough was the key. We stopped going until one night we stopped in for a quick bite and from the very beginning the waiter had issues. He didn't write our order down so he had to go get a pad and retake it. Then he placed a soda right in front of my toddler while I was turned and it ended up all over me. Then After waiting a lot longer considering how empty the place was my husband received his meal with the bun microwaved which I specifically requested they NOT do. I however, never received my food nor did the waiter come to check on us. I had to go to the bar and ask if my food was coming. I was greeted with blank stares and then finger pointing. At this point I was just ready to pay and leave. They took off my meal or so they said but the minute I looked at the ticket I saw they left a few items still on their like French fries that I never saw. When I informed her of this she decided to comp our whole meal. While all of this can be attributed to just a bad night what I cannot get over is their constant use of a microwave. I don't go to restaurants to eat food from a microwave. I can microwave at home and spend way less. They never have a steamer and for some reason cannot take the time to toast the buns instead. I attempted to contact the owner whom I have spoken to on several other visits but they refused to return my requests. I think they have potential but are trying to be cheap by frying and microwaving everything instead of actually cooking to order. It's a huge pet peeve of mine."

"This. Place. Rocks. I've always loved anything with a 50's theme, and Maid Rite does that theme very well. They've got amazing food, and reasonably priced too (usually under 7 or 8 bucks). The service is awesome and they definitely put the customer first. They could probably do a little better job of advertising though, for the longest time I thought it was a maid service or something. Overall though, I love it! Get a nutella shake when you go :)"
