"I took my 9 year old son here, and we loved it. He got the classic Mac n cheese, and I asked the guy behind the counter what his favorite was. I ended up going with the #1 classic fettuccine alfredo and loved it. The breadsticks were too yeasty for me, and I wasn't impressed with them, but my son made the comment that they are home made. We got scones with both the orange vanilla cream and honey butter and then mixed them because although the orange was good, the flavor wasn't strong enough, and it turned out really good combined. I didn't say much about the 80s rock music and the classic van turned into a salad bar, but it was great for the ambiance."
"Wow!!!! What a perfect place to stop on your way to and from adventures! We stopped after hiking Bryce Canyon traveling highway I15. The service was quick and accommodating with our 4 children. They were able to make pasta the way they like it. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a yummy salad bar with a few tasty breadsticks. Not many places are available on road trips that work well for adults and kids…healthy, fast, clean, with a beautiful view!!!!"
"We tried the lunch special ( $10). It included a pasta bowl, 1 trip to the salad van, 1 bread stick, and a small drink ( with refills ). The pasta was tasty, the salad van was very well stocked and refrigerated. I also tried the meatball soup. The owner ( Chris) greeted us and was very attentive. We will come back again. When it is warm outside we will try the ice cream."
"First customers of the day, first trip in for us and it was AWESOME! The place is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN, easy to navigate, menu promptly displayed along with QR codes to view the menu on your phone while you wait. The queue line was easy and the servers were knowledgeable and efficient. The ambiance is great! I love the old Dodge A100 Sportsman converted into a salad bar is the centerpiece and is just cool!! What a great idea! From beginning to end this was a great experience and if you find yourself at the Cedar City North interchange, DON'T MISS IT."
"We thoroughly enjoyed everything about 2nd East! The space is clean, bright and modern. The food was delicious with big portions and reasonably prices. The staff were very helpful and quick. The scones with honey cinnamon butter were a highlight. There is nothing else like this in Cedar and we really appreciate the location."
