"My experience with Tidemark was pretty solid for the first couple of months. My communications with the owner were overall always positive but, unfortunately, all sorts of issues started to occur so I’m not sure what happened - I’ve wondered whether there are too many providers on their load, folks are burned out, etc. Their system for asking questions and requesting follow-ups is a little clunky and, for some cases, I never received responses and ended up just figuring it out on my own. This was hard for emergent needs, especially with the nuances of clients already experiencing distress with their mental well-being. My biggest concern was that they were mischarging a few of my clients due to staff not updating information about deductibles. Even though they said they were aware and confirmed deductibles had been met (and I even called the insurance companies, too, to check), they continued charging more than necessary. This was really distressing for the clients and I had to do a lot of damage control. I tried seeking support but received very flippant responses from Raylin, who was usually the staff member who replied to my inquiries and concerns. I’d already been considering ending my contract with Tidemark but the responses I received confirmed this for me. After I ended services with them, I found numerous claims in Availity that were actually denied and therefore unpaid (and no evidence of them being resubmitted), but these are claims Tidemark took a percentage of in their monthly invoicing. I spent a lot of hours doing billing clean-up and honestly just didn’t have the energy to bring this up with them. I’ve been using a new billing service that’s fixed the issues that were left behind by Tidemark and they’ve been a big improvement overall. I’m an optimist so I do believe Tidemark can offer good services - especially if they fine-tune their systems and improve customer communication - it’s just not what I experienced."

"Unfortunately I would NOT recommend Tidemark VA services even though they were recommended. The first appt that was scheduled no one called me at the scheduled time. I then had to reach out by phone and email to two different people before I was able to reschedule. I did not receive any type of confirmation the second time around and when I did reach out to confirm, I was asked if I could change my appt time. I received a reminder email the day of my appt (15 min prior) that noted I would receive a Zoom link....I never received the link nor has anyone called me YET again. Extremely disappointing. I would never trust them with any of my credentialing needs or billing needs."

"Brittainy and her team at Tidemark VA are fantastic to work with. They have guided me each step of the way with the billing process and been available when I've needed them. I really appreciate the system they use to keep the billing process as streamlined as possible. I found Tidemark VA via a professional recommendation and couldn't be more pleased with the services they offer. They take care of all my billing tasks and have been extremely supportive when I've needed assistance in taking care of my part. I highly recommend their services and I plan to stay with this company for the long-term."

"Sadly unable to trust them. They see no issue in sharing my personal email address with their client list. Wow, just wow... it takes only a second to use the blind cc function in email. The email in question chastised clients to not contact a particular member of their team and gave details of a personal situation. An out of the office auto reply would have sufficed. Poor boundaries. The small amount of work that they did for me was fine, but without trust, I need to move on. It is AMAZING to me that this owner responded to my accurate review as she did. Shaming me for having the nerve to call her out. Emergencies happen - that does not change your responsibility to treat my information with care and professionalism. Unbelievable - her response speaks volumes."

"Initially I had a really good experience but I found that as they grew in size they were unable to keep up with all of my business needs in a timely manner and some balls were dropped. Like the previous poster wrote, I felt as though there were some trust issues that when brought to their attention were justified instead of just resolved. I will say part of it was my fault for not following up as closely as I could have however when I hire a company I have a certain level of expectation for excellence. Overall I would say they aren't bad but there were some things I would have liked to have been better to remain a customer of theirs."
