Del Rancho - Moore

"The food seemed a bit bland today and not as good as the last visit. The fried steak was not as flavorful or crispy. On the last visit, the gravy was served on the bottom of the fried steak which was great. This time the gravy was served on top. The gravy also did not taste right. The service was not too good today. The server did not bring the silverware so after patiently waiting, we had to ask another employee who was bussing tables. We also never received our drinks or one of the side items we ordered. When we came in, it was busy but a lot of people had left as we ate so I'm not sure why the service was so lacking. The restaurant did kindly remove the items we didn't receive on the receipt without issue when asked but we were disappointed on this visit. We are considering not returning for a while...or ever. My advice to the management is if you find a good server, pay them good to keep them there. The problem probably isn't the server but the lack of training they were provided. Original post: I was skeptical of the food and service from all bad reviews. This was my first visit to a Del Rancho. We ordered the chicken fried steak dinner plate. It was cooked to perfection. The breading was golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. It was not salty. The gravy was delicious. I understand why they place the gravy on the bottom because it keeps the steak breading from getting all soggy. It was lunch time and busy but the 2 waitresses there were attentive. Food also came out in a timely manner. I will be back when the chicken fried steak dinner craving hits."

"Ordered the chicken fried chicken meal and there wasn't any chicken it was all breading and I ordered the gravy on the side (It tasted burnt). Also, the fries were like eating raw potatoes. (Photos added). Do not waste your time or money going here."

"First time here and it didn’t disappoint. The portions are huge. We had chicken fried steak sandwiches, tater tots, and fried okra. They were all hot and fresh. The cherry limeades are a must try! We will be repeat customers for sure."

"Best chicken fry steak within 3 hours of Moore Oklahoma maybe further! Every time I drive up from Dallas I stop here! I look forward to the sandwich and it's so good!! It's huge and can almost be shared, but I'm too greedy. Lots of meat under the perfect breading and good flavor, not too greasy. Staff is always friendly, and the drive thru is pretty fast. Highly recommend a stop here!"
