"AWFUL! I as well as other parents have experienced racial issues with the director Jamie Martin. She treats our children of color as if they are not able to be helped and just need to be kicked out of the center. Jamie as well as some of the staff members talk down to and about the children in front of the children’s faces. My son was ignored and isolates by multiple staff members. My sons head was also hit against at the wall and I was not notified. I DO NOT recommend putting your children in the Edmond, Santa Fe La Petite Academy because they are not safe under the care of Jamie and her staff."

"Love this facility! The director Michelle and assistant director Caleb are both super helpful and understanding. My oldest daughter had never been to daycare, put her in at 2, almost 3 years. She started out clingy and scared, but soon opened up and began to love her teachers, specifically Ms. Lexi. My youngest was 6 weeks old, and the infant teacher Mrs. Gay is wonderful. All in all, this daycare is perfect for your children."

"My son had something bad happen to him at this daycare, and we wasn’t informed about this problem until he was picked up! Once the mother of our child received the incident report and informed me about what they said happen to our son and me seeing his face told me otherwise. The teacher stated my son was running towards her and fell face first hitting the concrete. This incident happened at 10:45am , we didn’t receive a phone call when that the incident happen nor did we receive a message thru brightwheel which is a application they use for communicating and keeping a eye on your child! This incident which caused his eye to bruise badly also causing a huge scrap above his eye. I then noticed another innocent report that stated our son was playing with a toy and another child tried to take the toy from him and scratched his eye. This incident happen at 3:50pm, she checked our son out of daycare at 3:53pm! I went to the daycare today which is October 9th, 2017 , once I arrived I’ve spoke to the director about the issue and she was clueless on what had happen and why we wasn’t called as soon as the incident occurred, she also informed me the employee that watches my son will be there at 9am and we will be able to get to the bottom of this situation. While I’m waiting I asked to speak to the assistant director who signed off on the incident report and she informed me she was in the infant room during the time my son got hurt and didn’t know exactly what happen. I asked her did you pay attention to his face and what the report said , she informed me “she had a lot of things going on and when she signed off and looked at my son his eyes didn’t seem that scratched”. The incident report at 10:45am says his injury affected which they checked other and wrote fall and checked off on , “scratch , cut , scrape, skin broken, & exposure to blood”. But she thought it was only a scratch she says!!! So I asked them what are the steps on calling parents informing them there child were injured and they informed me they couldn’t share that info with me unless I was an employee, that’s when I informed them I’m a parent and have a right to know. At that time I was giving a handbook!” I asked them to review the cameras and was told the district manager was on the way and was the only one that could give me the ok. I’ve called corporate to report the issue, and I’ve have received a call back and I also contacted Edmond police department to file a report they never showed up to the daycare! Lastly I’ve waited for over 3 hours and the teacher never showed up for work , this will not be the last you guys hear from, and I advise everybody to keep your kids far far far away from this place!"

"Everything was wonderful at first. My son has been there for several months, then we started noticing it was going downhill rapidly. He would come home in a diaper that I could tell hadn't been changed in hours, I would find him passed out asleep in a corner or out in the middle of the floor with no blanket or anything and kids running all over him and the teacher just watching, as well as the teacher supervision is a complete joke! I have seen kids in other classrooms standing on tables and playing, and one incident with my son the kids were playing with these glass blocks(which are totally inappropriate and not safe for them to be playing with them) that had fake bugs in them and they were beating my son in the back with them and the teacher just laughed and said nothing to them. Not to mention the director is NEVER there for me to talk to her about any of this so I had no choice but to escalate it to dhs. I would not recommend my worst enemy to this daycare. STAY AWAY!!"
