Five R Trucks

"NEVER EVER take your vehicle to Five R if you actually want it to be worked on! My son took his truck to Five R on November 11th to be fixed after he was hit by another car. He would follow up on the truck with phone calls and going into the shop, and never got a clear answer. They told him they worked on the truck and already spent all the money from the first payment from insurance, and they put in another request to the insurance for more money, however after following up with the insurance we found this was not true. Finally on January 22nd I called Five R and they said they were taking it to a dealership to help them fix it on that follows Wednesday (Jan. 24th). I follow up with the dealership because this was the third time they told us the truck would be going in. After speaking with the dealership Tuesday Jan 23rd they said there was not anything on the books for the truck. Turns out they were going off the books and doing shady business to try to get the truck fixed after 2.5 months after having it in their possession. Five R received a call from the dealership on Tuesday to come and get the truck they called my son to come pick it up. When my son arrived to pick up the truck Five R tried to charge us $325 for two hours of labor. When I asked for them to provide an invoice they couldn’t, and we couldn’t take the truck without paying first. I told them we would pay, but without an invoice we would be going to an attorney as they didn’t do any work. They soon changed their minds and said we didn’t need to pay. Jake Hill was extremely rude, and tried to gas light me saying it was my fault they weren’t working on the truck anymore because we followed up with the dealership. Another employee of Five R put hands on my son’s friend pushing him out of the shop because he didn’t like him in the shop speaking about how long the truck was in there without any work being done. This place is extremely unprofessional, and never did any work that they said they were going to!"

"These guys are great! I called for a quote on a Ranch Hand bumper at 430 pm he gave me a solid quote for the parts and installation. I called back the next day and made a deposit and scheduled the install a couple days later. Dropped the truck off and asked if they could have it ready by 2pm ..before I even left they were pulling it into the bay. Called about 1 and the truck was ready to go.. very professional and knowledgeable."

"Go somewhere else: A) I've had work done here before and had less than stelar experience with staff being condescending, or indifferent at best, to me bringing my business to them. I tolerated it as few folks in the area did exactly what I needed. B) I then had them evaluate my loose steering. They indicated it was a worn trackbar (fittings) and they replaced it. A few days later it drove worse than before. I inspected the work to find the trackbar bolt EXTREMELY loose and plenty of play. Moreover, the bolt holding my steering stabilizer to the tie rod was COMPLETELY GONE. I called, left messages, and emailed multiple times asking if they would remedy the situation - THEY NEVER RESPONDED to ANY request for communications. I replaced the missing hardware, torqued everything to spec. and 2 months later everything is fine. This was blatant negligence that could potentially have had fatal consequences."

"I don’t know how many of my trucks and trailers I have brought in to these guys but it’s always a great experience. It’s a busy shop so be patient and if you need a quote stop by the shop it’s faster and easier to get an accurate quote. But I’ll keep going here for my performance parts and future builds"
