"One of the few Black-owned & operated coffee shops in Aurora. Great place to come and congregate with friends for quiet conversation. Best coffee I've had in town (very unique flavor profile that puts American coffee to shame!). Management is very kind, attentive, and prioritizes the comfort of the patrons. I highly recommend this space!"

"Such a cool little gem with a really young but chill vibe. It gives the impression of the cool place to hang out in a 90s sitcom with an updated interior (really nice choice of furniture), but seems family friendly too, since the employees were tolerant of mine and my friend’s toddler. It has nice spacing of the way things are laid out so it’s not cluttered or overwhelming. I’m glad my friend recommended it and I’m looking forward to turning the rest of my friends on to this cute little place. Try the Ethiopian Macchiato! So yummy."

"Adorable and modern Ethiopian coffee shop, would be an awesome place to co-work from since there is plenty of space and tables. Their American was fast and easy and parking was easy as well. Definitely will be back!!"

"Husband and I have been trying coffee all over Denver and wherever we travel for a couple of years now. Mom and pop shops, small batch, whatever you like to call them, we adore them. It is so lovely to find a new one closer to home! Generally Denver is where we have to go. There are a couple in Aurora that are ok, a couple in Parker but Denver has the coffee scene right now. But look out Metro cuz Lucy came to town!! The decor is delightful. It’s bright and airy with different styles of seating. Our only issue was we couldn’t find a trash can. There is lots of parking in the shopping center and the shop is accessible. We did not use the restrooms. The whole place is so clean and new. The coffee was great. We always do vanilla lattes so that we can compare across the board. But the real gem was the barista. I don’t know why I didn’t ask her name but she was awesome! So friendly with the greatest smile. She chatted with us and answered our questions and when she brought our lattes to our table, she mentioned that if we needed more vanilla, just bring them back to the counter. Hubby’s was fine but I did need a bit more. I love that she recognized that not everyone’s palettes are the same. The shop has only been open a couple weeks and almost every table was full when we were in there. We got ours to go but had a lovely chat at a table while we waited for our coffees that came out lickity split. I wish we could have stayed. Next time. They also serve a variety of pastries and food options. If you’re looking for coffee this morning, look no further. Even if you aren’t in Aurora, get on over to Lucy, you won’t regret it!"

"Wow. What a GREAT experience here. The owner (Micky) and his family are wonderful and so was the coffee and creative food options! Their roast is single origin from Ethiopia, and it was fabulous! The atmosphere was just as wonderful. It was full of smiling, happy and genuinely kind people. Really felt like a welcoming community spot. Micky made it his mission to ensure we were enjoying our experience. Unlike most coffee shops in the metro area that feel sterile or try way too hard to be “hip” Lucy Coffee House felt warm and inviting the minute you walk through the door. There really aren’t many coffee shops in Colorado like this anymore. Also helps that they are open late and have great prices. This will officially be my new go-to spot! Thanks Micky!"
