"For my taste, Bean Tree has the best coffee. But this shop is most unique as there is such a sense of peace there. The decor is unique also, subtle but so distinctive. It takes time to appreciate. The employees are very nice and friendly."

"I ordered a vanilla steamer, hot chocolate, and a pastry. I realize they were just opening, but I think she was just waking up, so I gave her a pass. Being dismissive like I'm doing you a favor is not cool. I wasn't offered a carrier or bag. The pastry and vanilla steamer were good. The hot chocolate not so much. It was bland. I loved the decor and setup. The bathroom for customers wasn't working, but they have one for employees. I waited years before I had the time to actually step into this coffee shop. Only to find I wasn't missing anything. I'll give it another chance. I It could've been a one-off. Until next time."

"Have only been here a couple of times. This would be my 3rd time. The previous two times were good, but this time was awful and truly concerning. The barista seemed to be the only one present, and she seemed too inebriated (I don't know what, but it was not alcohol) to work. She took significantly longer than what would be typical for a sober person, requiring the customers to repeat their order 5+ times, and would seemingly zone out randomly while speaking to a customer. I had ordered a large hot chai, and repeated that order at least 6 times to make sure she got it correctly, and she charged me for a medium cambrique tea. A second customer then came in, and she slowly took her order. She then began making the second customer's order before mine, making several mistakes like dropping metal utensils multiple times, and getting the customer's order wrong, requiring the customer to correct her. This entire process took around 20 minutes. My break was almost over so I just left the near empty cafe without my drink, and she didn't even notice (to my knowledge). Please make sure if your employees are on prescribed pain killers or high on something else that they at least have a backup barista so I can get my drink."

"Visited the area for 5 days, and 4 of those days I tried different lattes at Beantree, all of which were excellent. Quick, courteous service. Good hot and iced. I liked the seasonal options. I didn't get a boba tea, but I thought it was really cool to see that in a coffee place."
