"Staff is great. Apartment is nice. There’s a lot I enjoy about this complex but it is obscene the prices keep getting worse in Colorado. A one bedroom apartment with 2 dogs and a garage shouldn’t be $2,000/mo. Unfortunately, this will be my last year in my beloved state for that reason."

"If you choose to live here expect your renters to be liars and unhelpful. Not only did my roommate and I get a different apartment that we expected, the leasers are unforgiving and lie straight to your face. It first started with the valet trash that they talk about. My roommate and I made sure to ask if the valet trash was an optional charge, and we were told YES. After we signed the lease, we asked for the charge off and they stated that the charge was not optional. They lied. They threatened to evict us and other people in our building as well. All because SOMEONE else was leaving their dogs poop somewhere on the property. WE DIDNT EVEN OWN ANY PETS YET GOT AN EVICTION THREAT!!! While the apartment was nice, they made us tour a completely different apartment from what we got. We then look at the bedrooms and while the master bedroom is a good size. The 2nd bedroom was extremely small, and so was the closet. If you ever loose your parking permit, you get charged with a hefty 50 dollars to replace it. If you’re ever inconvenienced, the staff is absolutely 0 help to get things sorted out. You’ll basically get a “nothing we can do about it”. When you pay that deposit fee, expect not to get it back, you'll even get charged more for moving out. My roommate and I kept our apartment really clean, no carpet stains, no wall stains, no damage whatsoever. We even went to the office and asked what they expected and what we could do so that we can get even a little bit back for the deposit. The lady there beat around the bush and made it pretty obvious that they would keep all the money. That was fine, we tore up the kitchen to clean everything, we vacuumed, scrubbed walls, everything that we could do to leave the apartment in good shape. We are later sent a bill for an additional 400 dollars when we were told that the deposit would take care of it. They lied straight to our faces. They took 900 in total for us moving out. Its so sad to see that the place that people call home can care so little about the people choosing to call their property home. If you want a place to deceive, steal, and screw you over, THIS is the place for you"

"Don't do it! Make sure you understand everything they will bill you for. Valet trash, common area electric, move-out fee And, don't expect your deposit back! They will keep it and charge you $170 to paint, $120 to clean, $90 carpet cleaning, and this was after I was told that they wouldn't charge if I did it myself."

"The most useless leasing staff ever. Prepare to be charged a ton of money upon moving out. They make false claims to get every penny from you. We were good tenants for over 2 years and that is how we get treated. I recommend this place if you are looking to get taken advantage of and throw money away. Very very disappointed with Waterford on Mainstreet."
