"**Be careful of FRAUD** and the fine print. First, I was on month-to-month and they required 60 day notice to cancel which I found to be odd. Then after move-out I was charged over $400 for simply moving out. They want to charge me for CLEANING my apartment which is not in the contract. Essentially they just wanted to be paid for turning over the apartment, which is their job as a property company. Per the contract, I should only pay for DAMAGE and after I asked for evidence they sent photos which show NO damage. This was puzzling. I was lied to when I went on my tour and they said that you should not hear the trains at night. This was false and I was woken up by the trains every night. VERY LOUD and hard to sleep. Lots of construction in the area. Additionally, the air quality in the apartments is horrible and if you have allergies you will suffer. I ran air purifiers and they did nothing - I had to run a vacuum 1-2x daily for the dust. Last, if you want to live on the top floor it's very noisy. There is an air conditioning unit or heating unit which I reported multiple times but it's failing - so it shook my ceiling and vibrated to wake me up all night long. Any replies from management to this post is a blatant lie. Google readers: If you check the Google reviews, you'll see how many property companies have owned this apartment complex over the years - very high turnover. Be careful."

"We lived there for 2 years, and like most higher-end complexes, The experience there went from good to less-than-average over time. The units look good, but the frequent elevator failures, exceedingly noisy streets, very unpleasant community manager, difficulty communicating with various on-site staff (late or no responses, uninformed, unavailable) and difficult departure experience mean this is only a 3 star complex. The facility manager, however, is a gem, very pleasant and easy to work with. In sum, don't expect a 5 star living experience just because they price the units as 5 star."

"Daryl-Lynne was very helpful during the application process. She is friendly and efficient, and I would definitely work with her again. Unfortunately, a few days after moving in, my car was hit (and damaged) in the parking lot. The person did not leave a note or anything. I was told there are only cameras near the dumpsters. Seems like there is nothing I can do about it except file a police report...not a good first impression, though it's no fault of the apartment complex. Perhaps assigned spots would prevent things like this. I'm a little confused about the maintenance system. I put in a request days ago and have yet to hear back. To have problems right after moving in that aren't getting addressed is a bit frustrating."

"“I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with River Walk Apartments. The leasing process and subsequent communication have been nothing short of unprofessional and misleading. Initially, I was contacted by a leasing lady who informed me that I had been approved for an apartment. However, when I requested confirmation of my low-income status, which was discussed with the first leasing lady, she suddenly claimed that I did not qualify. This conflicting information left me confused and frustrated. Due to this discrepancy and lack of transparency, I made the decision not to move forward with the lease. The first leasing lady assured me that it was okay and even mentioned that there might be other opportunities in November. She also promised that I would receive my deposit back by the end of the day. However, just minutes later, I received a call from a different leasing lady who completely contradicted what was previously discussed. She informed me that I could not get my deposit back and claimed to have recorded our conversation. When I requested a copy of the recording via email for clarification, she refused to provide it. This inconsistent and unprofessional behavior from the leasing staff at River Walk Apartments is unacceptable. It is essential for potential tenants to be able to trust the information provided by the leasing office and to receive consistent and honest communication. I strongly advise anyone considering River Walk Apartments to proceed with caution. The lack of professionalism, contradictory information, and refusal to provide evidence only serve to create an environment of mistrust and frustration"
