"Whoever is in charge of purchasing for this Safeway needs an award. Jagarico?? And 2 different flavors?? In Monument Colorado???? It's hard enough finding any calbee stuff even at the giant warehouse Asian market in the springs. 10/10. They also have other nice stuff like weird fruit (kumquats recently) and paté etc. Canned paté would be cool but I'd be asking too much."

"Some of the employees are nice, but this store is all around pretty awful. Essential items are frequently out of stock and the checkout lines get absurdly long. Walmart and King Soopers have their issues too, but this Safeway is by far the worst grocery store in the Tri-Lakes area."
"I don't normally respond to these posts, but felt compelled to respond to a post someone made about the gentleman at the self - checkout counter. I am also always in this Safeway. BEST bakery in town. I was just there yesterday and he has always been nice and very kind. The other day I was having issues checking out with my credit card at the self-checkout and he was kind enough to assist me. I happen to also be a "brown person" and I have never sensed any issues from him or anyone in the Monument Safeway. I think some people, unfortunately, look at everything through the lens of race, gender, etc., and this is really unfortunate. If he needs someone to refute this horrible claim ( I know things like this can cost people their job now days), please let me know. Very happy to come in personally (probably while grabbing some yummy donuts) and tell Safeway management that I have not had this experience with him. Hopefully, Safeway Management will see this. Don't want someone losing their job over something like this!"
"I have never had a bad experience here. Seems well stocked no matter what day or time I come in. All of the staff are helpful and friendly. I particularly love the guys & gals doing the Safeway Drive up & Go. Always courteous and they get my orders together incredibly quick, no matter what day. Hoss is a gem, he is always friendly even on busy days and right before holidays."
