"I have never used this service business. In asking my seamstress I ask if she could recommend a dry cleaners in Montrose or nearby. She mentioned that I should avoid Kilbanes as she had had many clients bring in clothing for repairs that were damaged by Kilbanes. I trust the advice of my alterations person so I am passing along her “avoid Kilbanes” advice. Seems that Grand Junction is the closet city with a reputable dry cleaners. Too bad."

"I rented a tux for a wedding and went to pick it up and nothing fit, not even close. Last minute decision made to go buy a suit and tried to get the deposit back and was told by the owner/manager Jim's Formal Wear does not give back deposits. Got a email back from Jim's and they said it was Kilbanes policy not theirs. Lies lies and more lies.. Never again Kilbanes."

"Was originally skeptical to take in jeans to get starched as I didn’t know if they’d do a good job. Owner assured me they could heavy starch jeans. Went to pick up and there was hardly a crease and nearly no starch in them. Spray in starch would’ve and an iron would’ve looked better. Owner said there normal machine was down and they had to use another which ended up washing out nearly all the starch. I asked for them to be comped as they did not provide the service I asked for. Would’ve been fine if she would’ve offered to comp them or called me and told me she couldn’t complete the service. Machines I go down, that happens, but she wouldn’t comp them as she had already done the service. I would not recommend anyone go there simply for the fact that the owner refuses to comp for services she failed to provide. On top of that, it’s also far and away the most expensive dry cleaner I’ve ever visited."

"If I could give negative stars, I would. This place is HORRIBLE and ruins your things. They don’t bother looking at the care tag. Absolutely RUINED my beautiful irreplaceable faux fur blanket. Even the employees at the store commented that the blanket was ruined and that the owner would replace it. I was assured I would get a phone call. No such phone call happened. When I called to follow up, the owner was rude, defensive, and claimed that the blanket was ruined before it came in. When I went to pick up the blanket the owner came out aggressively like she wanted to fight. I did not receive any sort of refund either-I PAID THEM $45 TO RUIN MY BLANKET. I’m all about supporting long time local business, but this business is under new ownership and I would ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS."

"After reading some of the low-star reviews, I was hesitant to take my down/fur trimmed parka there, but all went well. Could they be more pleasant/chatty? Sure, but what do I really care as long as they do the job? Is it a modern/fancy dry cleaners? No, but again, not really an issue as long as the job is done right the first time. Bottom line, they did they job I paid for and the price was less than I thought it would be. I'll use them again when the time comes."
