"High-end outdoor gear shop located at the Park Meadows mall. I stopped by to check out Barbour waxed cloth jackets after seeing a show about how they're made (Inside the Factory - highly recommended) and wanted to see some in person. While I didn't pick one up on this visit I they had a large selection and plenty of sizes. I'd say they are medium weight and you can purchase an optional liner and hood to expand the conditions you can wear them in. They are pricey though (300-400+) so I'd wait for some type of sale. Classic British styling and quality but require special care because of the wax. Otherwise while the mall can be crowded at peak times, there is lots of parking and plenty of other stores and restaurants to visit. Staff seemed very friendly and helpful. Recommended."
"Customer service, knowledge of local waters, advice that fits my needs because they listen and are not trying to sell something. Brian, who also teaches the fly fishing class, was amazing with my son and easily helped him with adjustments to his casting. Pete pointed out a spot that he frequented and we had a blast catching browns and rainbows all day. My son and one of his many trout on his new Recon fly rod this past weekend. Brian also set me up with the waterproof sling bag, perfect size for all my gear with room to spare for a rain jacket and lunch!"
