Sam's No. 3 Glendale

"11 am on a Monday, veggie omelet. Clearly this place just works if you want lots of food, although it really didn’t taste that high quality. Seems like they buy low quality ingredients and sell this stuff for a middle of the road price…but in this photo with 20% tip this came out to 22 dollars. It’s a bit much for the quality of the ingredients but the service was fantastic, atmosphere was classic. If it was just the food, 3 stars, with everything else let’s say 4. Hash browns were very good, again though they were not seasoned well."

"I liked this place a lot more than the Curtis Street location. It's a diner with Infinite choices and they hit pretty solidly. Went with a stacker and corn beef hash benedict. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. The big standout was the super thick marble rye. I'm used to a very thin crispy slice but this made me reconsider everything. The service is fast and super nice. She was really great with anticipating everything."

"OK so... I haven't lived in Denver in 10 years. Let's start by saying when my plain landed I raced to the OG location in aurora to find it had been closed. I was scared my favorite was gone for good. After a quick Google search the Glendale one was open. I raced over there Sunday at about 1030. When we pulled up there was a line out front. But I knew a line wouldn't stop me. I wanted my Sam's breakfast burrito. The parking lot was slammed packed so I did circle like 2 times to get a spot. Once we went inside the cashier/host told us it was 30 to 45 min wait. They take your number and text you when ready. They use yelp so you can track your position in line too. Once we were seated our waitress was also the bartender in s very busy morning. I was worried because of that we would get bad service. Boy was I wrong. She was quick and attentive and always had our drinks topped off. The food! So after not being here in years I had worried the quality had fallen. I was also mistaken. It was everything I had remembered. The burrito was hot, stuffed to the max and smothered with chili and cheese. I got the vegetarian burrito since I no longer eat meat and was worried about the green chili... Wrong again. It was amazing. This was the first stop before landing and will be my first stop before I fly back home. Thank you Sam's no 3 staff and owners for seriously staying consistent and absolutely amazing."

"First visit this morning, definitely won’t be our last! Matt was a great server! Answered all our questions, quick with the coffee refills and funny & friendly. Started with a cinnamon roll (creamy and cinnamony) which was enough for 3! Apple sausage with eggs and home style potatoes, chorizo burrito, French toast, cream pancakes…all so sooooo good! Can’t wait to go back for lunch, dinner and cocktails!"

"Great spot to come watch games and sit at the bar. Lots of options on the menu so everyone can get a little something different. French toast was delicious. Had country fried steak with eggs. The eggs needed salt but the steak was tasty. Hot coco could use more sugar or maybe made with milk it was a little bland. Husband got a breakfast plate and he said his needed salt too. Service was good and atmosphere was great. Been here a couple times and I’ll be back when wanting a diner spot."
