"I will say, the best thing about Cochino’s is the staff and the atmosphere. Great service, we had a new girl (wish we could remember her name) and she was fantastic. My wife and I both really wanted to like this place because it’s local in our neighborhood. We’ve given it a couple tries. The food is really missing something. Fairly bland and just nothing special. Even with ordering some items from the happy hour, we found it to be not worth the price for what we got. I will say whoever does the marketing at this place is a savage and doubled down on making t-shirts for the staff with their one-star reviews. Much respect. For that, we give two stars. However, we kind of agreed with some of the one star reviews so it kind of backfired. Not sure if that was just confirmation bias or what. Anyways, hope they make a few menu changes."
"Love this place. My first time at the Edgewater location…just as good as the OG Englewood…actually it’s bigger and brighter and roomier. The food is great and you are her GET THE BIRRIA EGG-ROLLS! Friendly staff and great HH menu. Some of the apps are sneaky good like the Doritos nachos. Oh yeah, don’t forget to get that shaggy style!!"
"Came here for happy hour and it did not disappoint! The happy hour is very reasonably priced and we got the two crunchy tacos shaggy style and the green chile cheese tots which were both delicious. Service is great and decor is great. We will be back. Look at this huge 6$ Michelada!"
"*I've been a Cochino fan at other locations before this one for years. Unfortunately the reason by Cochino was what it was, was because it's every day happy hour prices. Now that they bumped their prices they have completely lost their identity in my opinion. They have never had the best food or anything but the prices were worth it. Margs used to be $5 now they're $7 on happy hour. My friends and I NEVER went to Cochinos after 6 o'clock because once happy hour was over, the quality wasn't worth full price. Now... a happy hour marg is $7 and full price used to be $8."
"Came here two weekends in a row with my wife for happy hour and had an excellent dinner. Super reasonably priced for what you get. Queso and guacamole are bomb. Tacos are great and the margs are excellent!"
