"Visitor center was friendly, park was just so-so. Campsites looked really close together and there are no trails to hike. Good for water activities"

"The only sad part was that we only stayed for a night, can’t wait to go back. The amenities were super clean and maintained. Great views everywhere we stood."

"What a fantastic State park for RV camping! My wife and I stayed at this park in our fifth wheel trailer for two nights (8/10 - 8/13/2020). We stayed in a space on the upper loop with a fantastic view of the lake and of the Gap. There was plenty of space between sites. Each site had its own covered pavilion with a picnic table underneath along with a metal fire pit on the site. Our site on the upper loop had full hookups to include sewer! Amazing for a State Park. Park hosts were on site and did a great job at keeping up with the grounds. If you have T-mobile, you will have excellent reception. Verizon- not so much. If you want to watch TV, either have satellite or bring DVDs. Otherwise, enjoy the great outdoors and the night sky. We have been at this park before and will surely return. Be aware however, due to two major fires in Colorado and with the dry conditions, you may experience some real smokey conditions as well as a fire ban. To my knowledge, propane fire pits are allowed."

"I absolutely love this hike!!! The waterfalls are stunning and the caverns are well taken care of. Just remember, you can go above and all the way around the waterfalls but be careful and please stay in the marked paths!"

"Simply breathtaking. Trails are easy and fun. Safe enough for little children. We have a 3 and 4 year old they did fine. Lots of picnic tables."
