"Had a slow leak in our tire, so we drove to the nearest shop to get the tire looked at. The technician told us that he had an oil change to finish, but should be able to get the tire taken care of in about an hour. After an hour and forty five minutes, the technician handed me my keys and said, “We can’t help you today, but if you can come back tomorrow morning, we’ll be able to help you.” If he’d have told us earlier, we could have aired the tire up some and tried to go to another shop. Now I am stuck with a slow leak and have work early in the morning. Poor communication and terrible service."
"I’ve had negative experiences at most mechanic shops, specifically with over charging, telling me I needed extra work done on my car that I knew I didn’t, etc. Now, I only take our cars to this specific Firestone (Thornton location in Colorado) for anything needed which I have been doing for years, and have never once had a bad experience. I truly believe they have always been honest with me, never try to upcharge or add unnecessary repairs, and always answer all of my questions. There is normally a woman who checks me in and out while there (her name is escaping me at the moment unfortunately! May be Audra?) who I cannot speak more highly about. She’s so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. For example, I added a break check to my routine oil change appointment. She could have easily told me I needed new brakes, rotors, etc. instead, she told me the exact thickness of the brake pads, and even guesstimated that I wouldn’t need to replace them until after my next two oil changes. Highly recommend them!!"
