"We love Dr. Nuha! We moved to the Des Moines area from Iowa City and she made our transition so smooth. She was helpful in getting the right documents over to our children's new schools and she was patient and organized in assisting me when I was overwhelmed with all the new things I had to do about switching doctors! She always greets my daughters with a big smile and calls them by name and asks how school is going or takes time for conversation so they are comfortable. We had some issues with ear infections and she gave great advice and was so gentle and professional. I have always said that she helped make our transition here so much easier! At a recent check up for my oldest in grade school - Dr Nuha noticed a hiccip on her vaccinations record (from the transfer from Iowa City doc to here) and even though it was not necessary for her, she still took the extra time to print new papers off/make sure we have everything updated for 3rd grade - she was very busy that day but she still went above and beyond. She also was so wonderful about encouraging my girls to eat well and healthy but she presented it in a fun and non obligatory way. My daughters love her and feel so comfortable around her. The entire staff there is amazing and welcoming - we feel very lucky to have build a relationship with Dr Nuha :) :). I'm just jealous I'm an adult and she isn't the primary doctor for myself :)"

"Dr. Shash has been our pediatrician since my son was born. Coming off of a traumatic pregnancy and having a preterm baby, I’ve felt nothing but confidence under her care. She is always so attentive and reassuring. As a first time mom, she’s never made me feel like I was asking a silly question. I value Dr. Shash’s opinion and we trust her."

"Dr. Shash is so attentive and caring to both of my children. We've gone to her for eight years and depend on her from well checks to everything in-between. She has such compassion and a deep understanding of childhood illness and always follows up when she says she will. Can't recommend her enough for your kiddos!"

"Dr. Shash is SO friendly! She is never in a hurry and is happy to answer as many questions as I have. Very professional and knowledgeable. One thing I really appreciated is that she sticks strictly to my children's physical health and doesn't tell me how to parent them. Younger doctors are taught in med school that they need to teach the parents how to be parents. I have been told by other, younger doctors how and when to give my children time outs or take away toys. I don't agree with this philosophy of telling parents how to be parents, so Dr. Shash was a breath of fresh air!"
