"A fun place to go and see a live band. The dance floor is a bit cramped due to a pool table (I’m sure it makes money when the bands aren’t there). Bartenders are usually fast and friendly. The men's bathroom is pretty gross, but can be interesting if you don’t mind the ladies watching you from the hallway while you go. There is no privacy at all when the door is opened any women waiting in the hall to go to their bathroom are standing right there."
"I dropped by Kenny's Garage after a friend asked me to meet there to watch one of the superior groups play their music on Friday the 27th of Jan. 2023. The group was excellent and enjoyed by a nearly full house of devotees of good music. Kenny's also has a nice dance floor and an excellent staff of bartenders and servers who provided a wide range of soft drinks, juices, beers and cocktails for you to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well as the attending crowd was friendly to new faces such as mine and very easy to converse with on a wide range of subjects. All in all, I would say it was one of the funnest nights I've had since moving to the Des Moines area from Colorado. If you have never been there before I would highly recommend you give this excellent establishment a try for yourself. ✌️"
