"I have been here for a year and a half or so and have had a pretty great experience so far. Work orders have been completed quickly, the office has been responsive and the apartments are pretty great for the price. I recently had a minor parking misunderstanding, which the office handled super quickly with a high degree of professionalism."

"My daughter moved to West Glen apartments from KC to attend grad school. She rented the loft floor plan. I do not have enough good things to say, nice kitchen with so many cabinets and island/ counter space, a walk-in closet that was humongous, washer/dryer in the huge bath (put your towel in the dryer so it’s nice and toasty when you get out of the shower !!) plenty of room for her furniture (queen bed, nightstand, tall dresser, long dresser that doubled for tv stand, small desk/chair and futon couch.) One of her favorite things about the place was the amount of sunlight for all her plants!! It was a fantastic experience for her and I loved the location (safe, next to major highways.) For my point of view; one of the very best things about West Glen was the Office Manager, Catrina! We toured in midst of COVID. She was just so friendly, polite, helpful and respectful. My daughter will absolutely miss her and her Iowa apartment! 10 out of 10"

"I’ve lived at this complex for a few years. I just moved from a two bedroom apartment that I really really loved the layout and the storage; to a one bedroom that I had to move to. Would of preferred to two bedroom but the one bedroom is nice but so much smaller. I will adjust because I like the complex, Ashley the manager does a great job of trying to keep the place clean and well maintained and I do feel safe here. I like this complex because it is a safe place to live and the other tenants for the most part seem to be good people. They work hard at what they do and do try keeping the complex clean. The management does everything to keep it running well. I’ve lived through several management companies. The Swift management has been really good at seeing problems get solved and doing it quickly. Ashley is really easy to work with and she makes sure any request gets taken care of promptly. She works hard to make sure your request gets done. The maintenance people are polite, professional and respectful and get things done. Paula West Glen"

"One of the nicest places to live in West Des Moines or Des Moines. I loved living here. Pros - Staff is helpful and flexible. - gorgeous units - underground parking - near everything - lots going on nearby - freebies for living there - elevator - secure access building (as long as management doesn’t shut this off) - flexible and helpful if you want to move out - laundry in bathroom - closet next to bathroom - lots of storage - storage in the hallway near your unit - flexible if you’re a day or two late - nice appliances - dishwasher - disposal - nice floors - high ceilings Cons - expensive - no heads up during window cleaning and blinds that come with are see through - bars are loud Similar quality: kirkwood, belle meade (see my belle meade review) If you found my honest review helpful, please like or comment."
