"Every year we have a spiritual retreat to the campground. Nice clean restrooms, hot water, the cabins are small but cozy. Dress warm because it can get cold."

"First time camping there. The experience was amazing. The peacefulness of getting out of the city was much needed. The interaction with the 2 wild horses was Top Billing. Got the brown one to eat cookies from my hand( hope it was ok). Then the Pinto wanted in on the action. Brown one made it clear the cookies belonged to him only. He followed me to the barbeque pit and kept nudging for more cookies. Saddly there weren't any left after having had to feed the sqinnies that kept shiwing up. Campgrounds were amazing. Very clean. Park rangers were there and e3aved when present. But let us have our time. Recommend it to all. Very clean and beautiful"
"This is still one of my all time favorite places to camp.It's only about an hour from LasVegas and it's simply beautiful.The weather is about 25-30°s cooler than Vegas.This campground is primative but always exceptionally clean.There are no utility hook ups,only flushing toilets.It costs $25 for a campsite with a fire ring and a picnic table.There are no cover shelters but trees are abundant.If you're quiet in the early morning hours you may have a visit from the wild horses or burros that live there.We did as you can see from the photos they were right outside of our tent.There's something magical about this place.Bring your family including the dog and come see for yourself!"
"Great campgrounds, easy to navigate, and very clean. I like how the sites are spread out pretty good. You aren't stacked on top of each other right next to others. The bathrooms could use a light but of course if you're camping you will likely have a lantern."
