"I get it, I now need to check out my own purchases and bag my own groceries. But to go to Fast and Fresh, and have to restock the coffee cups, restock the sugar packets, restock the lids, and add more coffee beans and I'm just a customer and have never worked for Hy-Vee, is a little much. It wasn't busy and it wasn't after a rush. This isn't the first time either. I have had to restock items myself on 3 different occasions. I try to ask staff and they are always busy (they say) or not around. It is the poorest managed store in the area. I have stopped going here and go to one of the 3 other ones a mile or two away that seems to keep up on simple tasks."

"I came to the gas station to simply use the rest of the balance on a gift card for gas. The cashier was an older man and appeared to be struggling a bit. I had to repeat more than 3 times that I was using the gift card, the amount on the card, and the pump number. The cashier didn’t confirm whether or not it went through after scanning the gift card in the app so I just went to pump but it did not work. The second time I came into the gas station, the cashier claimed the transaction didn’t go through. He scanned the card on the app again, the app showed the transaction went through, and then he attempted to give me the receipt even though I said more than once I didn’t want the receipt. I went outside to pump but it was not working. The third time I came into the gas station, I attempted to get assistance from the other cashier but he kept redirecting me back to the cashier I was trying to avoid. Both cashiers made claims that they needed to scan my card again on the app, but I informed them both that the app was showing the transaction went through and that their issues were not my problem. Both cashiers worked on the register then claimed the pump would work. It did not. I came into the gas station a fourth time to inform them the pump still wasn’t working. To this point of course both cashiers were treating me with disrespect, interrupting me and speaking over me, acting as if I was trying to be confrontational when something so simple should run smoothly. Both cashiers worked on the register for a few more moments then claimed the pump should work for me. I asked “Are you sure?” and the second cashier confirmed then said a sly comment as I walked out of the door. I have made the decision to stop shopping at all Hyvee stores (this is why I was using the remaining balance on my gift card in the first place.) I was shown that choosing to no longer support Hyvee is a great idea."

"This location has a Smokey Row with a drive thru! Great staff, great coffee, and an incredible dine in space with plenty of booths, comfy arm chairs, and tables! Great spot for a meeting or a Bible study or one on one discipleship as well."
