Main Street Cafe & Bakery is a family-owned institution located at 2510 Southwest White Birch Drive in Ankeny, Iowa. Since opening in 2015, we have maintained a high reputation for serving quality food and upholding high standards in both our menu items and employees. In 2017, Ryan and Brooke McCauley joined as partners to continue our tradition of excellence.
Our menu includes a variety of fresh sandwiches, soups, salads, pastas, party trays, and bakery goods. We are constantly expanding and adding new recipes to cater to all tastes. "Such a nice place and it is bigger than I remember it being. There are so many food options and the desserts look amazing. I had the chicken Alfredo and I loved it. The general Manager Archie was one of the nicest people I have met and made sure we had everything we needed. Food came out very fast and staff was nice. Also place is very clean."

"I love eating at Main Street Cafe when I visit family in Iowa. The salads, quinoa bowls, sandwiches, and soups are delicious. I loved the caramelized peaches, pecans, and feta salad with chicken. The cinnamon rolls are huge and yummy - well worth the calories. All the cakes and cookies look yummy too. A great place to meet for lunch."
"Food was good. Came for Mother's Day as we traveled home after an Iowa State graduation. Was the only place opened before 9am, too. Very attentive staff. We had an "odd" bottle of OJ, but they gave us a fresh one that was perfect. Not far off 35 and close to area hotels. I'll be coming back when in the area."
