"Our favorite place for chicken! Perfectly breaded and fried or order it grilled, either way the quality of their chicken is out of this world! They recently added more items to the menu and everything has been delicious. Always get Char's sauce for your chicken and fries! Locally owned and operated by friendly, hard working staff. Love seeing the owners working when we order. Great weekly and monthly specials as well. Drive thru and dine in options available."
"Wow, just wow. The spicy Nashville chicken sandwich was spectacular. The side of loaded tater tots hit the spot. The menu is all chicken and sides so expect that. At lunch it was packed but we were able to get a seat. The food was fresh and fast which is hard to do. A home run, a must try."
"Dang this place is good. Chicken is perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. Crisp and delicious. Their specials are to die for and change every week. The employees seem to genuinely enjoy working here and are super friendly, which is a welcome change for a fast casual restaurant. This is my second time here and both experiences have been fantastic!"
"We decided to eat here for dinner tonight. We have eaten here several times before and have never been disappointed. We ordered the buffalo sandwich, crab rangoon sandwich, fries, chocolate milkshake, and a strawberry milkshake. As usual, all of the food was excellent. In our opinion, this is the best place in the Des Moines area for breaded chicken sandwiches. If you like breaded chicken sandwiches give this place a try."
"Was kinda let down that this place didn’t live up to the reviews. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it wasn’t hot at all. My meal overall just felt…meh. The sanwhich is heavy on the breading/crunch but not so much on the flavor. Service was good and the space could’ve been a bit cleaner."
