"A bit of a wait when we got there, but it was a busy time frame. Our waitress was phenomenal and juggled making my chocolate martini while taking the next tables' drink order and still maintained presence with our table. She was effortlessly cool, calm, and collected. Then the pasta dish I ordered came. The sauce was the star. I could taste the cream, the bit of spice they added, and the tang of some citrus. It fell like I'd died and gone to Vodka sauce heaven. Even the pasta was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. The drink was fabulous too and so were the cheese curds, but I'll be honest, I'm going to dream about their Rigatoni Alla Vodka for years. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone!"

"We visited here as we'd heard positive things, and I had been craving a good fried fish. We started with the White Cheddar Cheese Curds. These may very well been the best we'd had. Lightly breaded, with a nice gooey cheese in the center. She had the JJ's burger; with it and the appetizer at happy hour prices were an incredible value. Sweet potato waffle fries were a delicious surprise. The fried walleye was a massive piece of fish. The breading is a bit thick, but very flavorful. Steak fries, coleslaw, hush puppies and a tasty tartar sauce really made the meal complete. All were great. We treated ourselves to a "desert flight" which were all quite excellent. Staff were very friendly, and Rick (owner) made sure we had all we needed. He shared a great story of how the name of the tavern and grill came to be, so be sure to ask him about it when you visit! Excellent food and deserts - highly recommend!!"

"JJ's Tavern and Grill for the win! ❤️ We've been a couple of times now, and it's been great! We've had the Brussel sprouts, cheese curds, rigatoni alla Vodka, 4 cheese Mac and kids mac... all have been phenomenal!! The kids asked to come back just 2 days after we tried it the first time. Our sever Jay was also amazing and very attentive. For sure a new go-to spot!"

"Tried this place out for dinner, and it was really good! We started with the hot honey Brussels sprouts and the cheese curds, we really enjoyed both. I had the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, a dish really hard to find in the metro, and I was definitely impressed, it was delicious. My husband had the JJ Smash Burger and said it was pretty good. Our waiter was super friendly and personable, and the owner stopped by our table and thanked us for coming in. We will definitely be back!"

"Loved checking out the new location to JJs tavern. Atmosphere is great Service was great and friendly. Payton took care of us and was very personable and attentive to our food, dinning experience, and cared about us as customers. The food was Amazing and the cheese balls/squares were probably the best I have ever had. Both had mules, very tasty. We will return."
