"We have been going approximately every other month to Chili's in Ankeny for probably 5 years, though we had spurts where we might go weekly depending on coupons. We've made friends with the wait staff. Promos/specials and menu have changed over the years but the food is always good for what you pay. Honestly some of my favorite margaritas here too - blackberry is my favorite! Oh, I also love their ranch, and their chips and salsa is delish. The manager stops by nearly every visit to check on our service and food. You can tell she really cares. We've seen many wait staff change over the years but she's always there with a smile on her face. We have had issues with the table-top payment system not wanting to take e-gift cards, and sometimes we have multiple to use at once. I always feel bad for the wait staff when this happens but they are generally understanding and patient. I honestly don't care what other people say or think about the fact that this is one of my top 5 restaurants."

"Ok, they tried. I had a new server who did great. However, you could tell the wings were rushed. Then I ordered a medium rare steak and it came out well done. They did offer to replace it, probably should have let them. Otherwise good service and I will try again sometime in the future."
"Our server, Amanda, was outstanding! Staff that served our food could have been a little more friendly and less upset when we asked for more water. Guess they didn't want to stop visiting with the table full of men to wait on our family. The food was up to Chili's standards, and the atmosphere (less angry food service) was chill. Hope Amanda didn't have to share her tip!"
"Welcoming staff. They were very friendly and treated guests in a courteous manner. The service was good. Our food came out quickly and was tasty. I would go back."
