"Ribs were over drenched in sauce.... like disgusting. Macaroni salad was flavorless and lacked any content. Noodles over soggy. The pecan pie was bland boring and commercial (I thought they use to make their pies....). Over all its not worth the money or time."

"I ordered for pick up. I was told that it would be ready in 25-30 minutes. For the amount of food I was purchasing, I completely understood. Upon arrival, the waitress was ping ponging around from the kitchen window to grab orders for diners whom were seated. The young man was behind the register and was ringing up and out the diners whom were finished and ready to leave. I waited patiently for my turn to pay for my order and let them know I was there, when I was finally able to get my turn, the waitress, a young woman, came up and while he was trying to talk to me, handed him a ticket stating, "...can you ring this out for me?" This would have been fine, had he not been in the middle of telling me about credit card payments getting an upcharge for it's convenience. He nodded and then finished up using the card machine, asking me to sign for the purchase. He then went to the back kitchen area to see if my food was ready. He started bringing it out and setting it on the counter, totally forgetting to ring out the ticket she had asked him to take care of for her, yet she was just standing behind the counter, staring at my son, accomplishing nothing. There was an older lady in a tie-died shirt going through the order to check it's accuracy, she was clearly very frustrated with how things were playing out. I ended up spending 15-20 minutes standing in the restaurant, after arriving exactly 30 minutes after calling. The waitress decided to raise her voice and tell the young man that he needed to ring the ticket out NOW, which was incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate, as she had been standing there, only taking MAYBE 5 plates out to waiting tables. She clearly was not expecting to have to do her part when the other employee(s) was busy. I finally got my order and my son, disgusted by the experience, gave the young man a tip, on top of the tip we left, stating "...this is for you and nobody else." My son works in a bar cooking and couldn't believe what we were actually witnessing. I will recommend this place for FOOD only, I would never waste my time interacting with that waitress for the entirety of a meal. We were not there late and they weren't super busy, so I cannot say that a "dine in" experience would have been worth the anxiety I got just in the time I was patiently waiting for my order."

"I love this place. I have only been a few times but they do a wonderful job. The chicken is always very good and probably the best place I know of in the area for chicken. It also is fun because it reminds me of a cafe that sold chicken back in my hometown that's no longer around (Gene's in Schuyler NE) and it has a fun old school country vibe."

"Lally’s has some nice small town charm. Food is decent. But opening service on Saturday was bad bad. Forgot parts of order and had to remind them. Never got checked on, refills, plates cleared. Prices are fair but it doesn’t make up for the lackluster, uncaring service. It’s Fat Boy Food Blog approved, but how? :( sad that I could have just gone to Casey’s. Dishes have been sitting for over 25 minutes and once they finally brought us a check we could ask for refills. Not overly busy, but you can tell who are regulars and friends."
