"Incredible group of people, they are very straight forward and have extremely fair pricing. They look for the least expensive option first. IF your tires are unsafe they will tell you that you need new ones. "Went for a slow leaking tire and they didn’t even look at it. Went straight to the treads on the tire and said I needed new tires. The only tires available was the most expensive ($190/tire) and quoted me over a $1,000 for all 4. If I would’ve done the math I would’ve know $190x4 is not over $1,000. I knew right away I was getting screwed. I checked the receipt after I left and I got charged $123.00 for a warranty they didn’t even tell me about and I still don’t know why my tire was slow leaking. I won’t go back to this location."
"So glad that Discount Tire have started opening locations throughout the Central Iowa region. Been working with Discount Tire since back when we were still in California. Glad the same level of professionalism in service and the great prices that are competitive with online retailers are still present at this location. Recently visited to get a set of new tires installed on a 2020 Audi TT-RS. From the ordering, scheduling installation, and the actual installation, everything was a pleasant experience. It’s always nerve wracking bringing a higher performance vehicle to any shop, but the team at Discount Tires took excellent care of my vehicle. Looks like they are expanding to a new location in Ankeny soon. That’s the great thing about going a big chain like Discount Tire, they’re all on the same system, so they actually still have my records (of vehicles I no longer own) all the way back to 2010s."
