"I took my car in for an oil change and inspection and they quoted me 500 dollars for new brakes and rotors. Thankfully I took it elsewhere for a cheaper fix, where they told me that my brakes were perfectly fine and I still have over a third of my useful life left. I recommend taking your car for a second opinion if they tell you that work needs to be done before they try screwing you over."
"I wanted an oil change and my breaks taken care of because I had a light on in the dash. I ended up with a quote for over $2000. $120 just to plug a scanner in to see why the light was on. They wanted to replace my front tires even though they were only 2 months old and hardly any wear. And the parts they wanted to put on were marked up nearly 50% compared to a parts store. Firestone’s sole purpose is to take advantage of people who wouldn’t know any better. I’m not pleased with the unprofessional service either. I didn’t get any sense of welcoming when I got there."
