"Went for tire alignment . Car started to drive worst after going there. I called and they had me come back in so they could check it out . They all gathered around me and tried to make me seem crazy claiming nothing was wrong with my car . Took my car to two different shops and the dealership I got my car from & found out BrakesPlus never did the alignment that I PAID them for . I recommended it to all my friends because I believed the price was great and thought I was receiving the service . I would never recommend this place to anyone . Be careful especially if you are a woman ! Mechanics love to take advantage of that . Listen to your gut and if you know something is wrong get a second opinion . Glad I did !"
"They held my car hostage until I agreed to get my brakes through them. I took my car there to get an estimate. I went to my mechanic in Des Moines the day before and they gave me a quote that was pretty high, they also told me that I had a few months before they absolutely needed to be replaced. Brakes Plus was quite a bit cheaper, so I ended up getting my brakes through them. I got there around 1:30 in the afternoon and left about 5:50 that night, not the way I wanted to spend my day off. They gave me a bunch of coupons, like I would want to do business with them again. At least I have new brakes, just not a good experience."
