"If you have a history of trauma that has led to behavioral and emotional troubles, then I do not recommend this psychiatrist. He definitely needs more training in working with people with these backgrounds. He's great if you're looking for ADHD medication but expect to do your own research and resource-finding. For instance, I asked if he had any suggestions for developing social skills, and he told me to Google. I had already googled but wanted to ask a non-Google source. This irked me because patients are often encouraged to ask their providers for help, not Google."
"Dr. Prasad is the best! My 13 year old has been seeing him and she loves him! She looks forward to their visits. There has not been any wait time before appointments, he takes his time with you, you are not rushed, he really listens and makes you feel comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and accessible, as well. I would highly recommend him, especially for kids who are shy. So glad we found him and that this has turned out to be a positive experience for my daughter."
