"I recently met with Surgeon Jennifer Baynosa for a consultation. I explained what my concerns were as a patient, but she focused more on her own expertise in general. I do not believe it is accurate to generalize every patient's diagnosis. Some patients may recovery sooner than others while some patients may need additional ongoing treatment. She kept comparing my condition with other patients in a general way. This seems like it was based on statistical information and not my condition as a individual. Everyone's body is not the same. Some patients have side effects when they experience certain treatment and some patients do not have certain side effects. She explained that she has been in the field for 20 years. She seems very knowledgeable about different procedures, but she was not very empathetic. When I explained my progress to her in relation to my condition, she did not acknowledge my improvement. She sticks to the black and white. When my breast were being exaimed Surgeon Jennifer Baynosa and her assistant did not wear latex gloves. It may have not been necessary for the examination, but I felt uncomfortable. I am use to medical professionals wearing gloves. My appointment seemed very rushed. I do not plan on returning to this facility for a follow up appointment. When I explained my thoughts about my reason for being skeptical about a certain kind of treatment , she was a little on the defensive side. She should have had more understanding. Experiencing a sudden health condtion is devastating. Some of the staff were very rude, but the representative at the front desk was very patient and understanding."
