"So you all thought you could be fresh by making my veteran wife see a 2 star psychologist when NOT ONE OF YOU IN THAT OFFICE is willing to step foot in a 2 star restaurant, hotel and bar. We live in Vegas, YOU live in vegas: So how did you get to be a 2 star psychologist that the VA proudly sends veterans to go see? If she (Stephanie Holland) has ZERO experience in examiner training AND ZERO board certifications, how and why Desert Psychological hired S.Holland is beyond the grave unjustice to the real 4 to 5 star psychologist but a massive face slap to EVERY veteran who had served to keep your civilianhood free!!! SHAME ON YOU PARAGON COUNSELING DESERT PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SHAME ON YOU OPTUMSERVE."

"I would first like to start off by saying this review is in no way to bash Desert Psychological. I am just leaving a truthful/honest review of my experience when visiting this office. My nephew has been in school since he was 3 years old and the school indicated that he may be on the spectrum for Autism. He was referred to this facility by his Pediatrician for testing because he has developmental delays in certain areas. I visited Desert Psychological to obtain testing and a proper diagnosis to deal with his current issues. When I first visited the office and told the the receptionist (a gentleman) that my nephew needed testing for Autism he almost immediately turned me away and said there was a 7-month wait list. He took down my phone number and insurance info and said they would call me near the 7-month mark. I explained this to my Pediatrician and asked for a referral to a different location and she said to just wait the 7 months first and if they don't service us then she'll oblige me with another referral. We get to the 7th month mark and there was no phone call so I visited the office for a second time and the same gentleman stated that the staff "does not know much about Autism,"; without even attempting to test my nephew for other things (i.e. ADHD or some other neurological issues). This was on a Friday and the gentleman once again took my info down and said he would call that following Monday; since I had mentioned that I waited 7 months. He NEVER called. It's been over a month since the last visit and STILL no phone call. Just blatantly lied. He was NOT very pleasant or eager to help. The encounters I had with him were very awkward both times. People often say "Reach out for help" or "There's help available," but when you reach out for help you're turned away. It's very frustrating and you just want a helping hand to deal with the issues that you or a loved one are experiencing. With that, I do NOT recommend Desert Psychological to anyone seeking medical help, attention or diagnosis."

"Good luck getting accurate neuropsychological test. I got a watered down version of my issues both physical and mental. Its hard even reading the report because its condescending in its recommendations and down plays everything. It’s useless for my disability claim. It seems the whole purpose of this test was to provide post graduate students with their practice hours for certification or something. It also took several tries call and emails to even get a copy. Good luck!"

"Very unprofessional! Had testing done for my son and was told I would have the results in a week after the review. 3 weeks later and no results. I called and spoke Rachel she is trained to have no answers. There is no one in the position of management to make the staff accountable. I had the testing done in June so I could have the results before he started school but every step of the way I have had to chase the staff for them to move forward. I made it clear what I needed my son tested for I was told that would not be a problem. Of course what I needed him tested for was not done. The worker told me everything I already know. Having a special needs child you deal with a lot of appointments and a short attention span. The worker complained that my son payed to much attention to his service dog. HELLO!!! Autism & ADHD what do you expect? They have no clue how to work with special needs kids. I will never deal with this office again, if I could I would have my insurance company not pay them! The owner is just as irresponsible as the rest of the staff, no sense of urgency or accountability. Horrible customer service and lazy case workers ! This office is all about milking the insurance company for money and not helping the child or the parent get the help they need!"

"Very unhappy with the doctors and staff. My first appointment. Was very clear live 40 minutes away I didn't have much time being a single mom of 3. I have a full time job and no time. I expressed I'm overwhelmed with the doctors appointments I already have. They said they can put it in one day of testing. The day come they disregarded everything that they said that they would do. They did not complete one of the tasks I expressed was my concern. This is a money place. They don't help not care. They lied to me and I don't like that."
